This program is a wonderful find that incorporates a reading section with spelling words, practice activities, a written passage to correct (with proofreading marks taught along the way), and a writing prompt. I currently use this for my 3rd grader who is a bit advanced in spelling. She never complains about spelling lessons, and gets 100% on all 20 words each week. I can't praise this series enough! ...more
[2] Rating: 4 Date: 2008-01-21 Summary: Nice spelling book ... This is a traditional spelling book. There is a list of words for the lesson and worksheets to reinforce the spelling rules. There's reviews so that past lessons aren't forgotten. I bought this book because I like the other levels in the series. This books fill the need for spelling. I'm still looking for spelling books that are a little more challenging, but until then I'm happy with Spelling Workout. ...more

I'm on my second BodyMinder Workout Journal so obviously it meets my needs (although I do not need all the dietary pages). One suggestion is to include a place to store a pen. I'd be willing to pay more just for a little pen holder on the cover. The only negative is the awful price sticker on the back. It's impossible to get off, and if you try alcohol the color comes off. Please - do you really need a sticker on an item from Amazon?? ...more

One of the best ways to make things happen in your life, whether they be goals or making sure you get home with all the groceries you need, is to write everything down. I'm a personal trainer and recommend that all of my clients get the BodyMinder Fitness Journal. I always bring mine to the Gym with me and of course the workout is planned before I get to the gym. I keep it right at the gym and simply pick one of the many workouts (endurance, speed, form, force, etc...)and then hit the water. Each workout has a long and a short version so you can select based on how you are feeling that day or the event you are training for. There are so many ways to work each muscle group and with all the different exercises in this book, it's impossible to get bored or stagnant.
