I also like the fact that it beeps at you to remind you to stay within your target heart rate range. It is unfortunate that you can not replace the battery - you actually have to send it in to Polar to have it changed. I'm not at that point yet, but I did notice it said that in the manual. The transmitter band, on the other hand, is not the greatest. It works and it's not particularly uncomfortable, but I have to be very conscious ...more

I purchased this product (at the recommendation of my trainer and Zumba instructor) to help me with my weight loss goals. The calorie counter especially is important to me, because if you know how many calories you're burning you know how many calories you can reliably eat and still lose weight.
