I've had at least 4 polar hr monitors and they are pretty good regarding accuracy, but something always seems to go wrong with them. Either a seal breaks and water gets in, or the hr jumps from normal to 225 in an instant.....etc. This watch is awesome and picks up on the hr quickly and remains constant. It has all of the basics needed for tri training. Great for doing laps in the pool and keeping time. Chest strap comfortable. Very user friendly and a great value for the money!
