Customer Reviews — [1] Rating: 4 Date: 2010-03-05 Summary: Good starter watch ... I've had this heart rate monitor for 6-7 months now. I choose this monitor for the features and the low price. It's a very good watch and the back light feature is excellent. I wear this watch for weight lifting and cardio at a gym, and it's nice to know how many calories I'm burning and when to slow down if my heart rate goes too high. It's got some pretty basic functions, 30 minute timer, alarm, back light, a way to count your laps and a clock that can be set to two different times, very helpful if you travel. Nice ...more
[2] Rating: 4 Date: 2010-03-01 Summary: Not quite what I wanted. ... I use the middle notch on the band so fit is no problem. I am male, 10 pounds overweight, 5' 8". I have atrial fibrillation and bought the watch to monitor my atrial pulse full time. Units with a chest sensor measure the electrical impulse across the heart rather than the rate at which the ventricles contract which is what is felt on the wrist. Customer Reviews — [1] Rating: 4 Date: 2010-02-25 Summary: I Like the Watch... ... This heart rate monitor watch is without a doubt really cool. It's easy to setup and use. I also like the fact that it beeps at you to remind you to stay within your target heart rate range. It is unfortunate that you can not replace the battery - you actually have to send it in to Polar to have it changed. I'm not at that point yet, but I did notice it said that in the manual. The transmitter band, on the other hand, is not the greatest. It works and it's not particularly uncomfortable, but I have to be very conscious ...more
[2] Rating: 4 Date: 2010-02-16 Summary: Overall works great! ... First off, I absolutely love this color. The main deciding factor on why I specifically purchased this model. With that said, I workout a lot. I use my heart rate monitor for every cardio workout I do and I have my heart rate recorded on every piece of every workout (about 16 workouts a week). For the most part, this watch does a great job. I get consistent information even when surrounded my 15 other women who are also working out with their heart rate monitors.
