Glycemic Load - The measure of the density and digestion speed of carbohydrates (the glycemic index of a food multiplied by the amount of carbohydrates per serving). The goal of low carb eating is to keep the glycemic load low. Carrots, for example, even though they have a high glycemic index, have a much lower glycemic load than pasta because they are less carbohydrate-dense.

After reading the the reviews of other hoists from Rad and Racor, I chose the Delta because it had the least negative reviews. Most of these negative comments were related to the supplied mounting screws. The screws are typical Asian-made hardware, not the best in the world - but the screws supplied are not defective. [2] Rating: 4 Date: 2008-10-03 Summary: Great for bicycles ... I purchased four of these to try and get the bicycles in my garage out of the way. Mounting them correctly takes a bit of time, and you do want to ensure you mount them correctly. I think they are rated for 50lbs, and I anchored mine in to the ceiling with 4-50lb anchors. Once they are up they are really easy to use. The hoist has a safety catch on it that won't let the item you're lifting fall unless you pull the cord in one direction.
