Glycemic Load - The measure of the density and digestion speed of carbohydrates (the glycemic index of a food multiplied by the amount of carbohydrates per serving). The goal of low carb eating is to keep the glycemic load low. Carrots, for example, even though they have a high glycemic index, have a much lower glycemic load than pasta because they are less carbohydrate-dense.

We puchased this becuase a friend of ours (who has back issues) used this to help aleviate her back pain (by rolling back and forth several times once a day). So far it has definitly helped my wife. It is no magic fix, but seems to help allign stuff (note if you don't like your back cracking while rolling don't by this! ) I think we could have goten by with the shorter one, as somestimes it is hard to find a wide enough floor area to use this. But overall we have been very pleased with it. ...more
