I'm glad I got the Pilates version because it has everything the regular gym has and more. I have used it almost exclusively for the Pilates exercises. It is well-built. The first few times I used it I was discouraged because I didn't immediately get the hang of the exercises. But I'm glad I stuck with it. I had been contemplating the Total Gym since 2004 and finally took the leap. What a great product! It came assembled, but did take some finesse to set up because it was heavier than I expected.
