Glycemic Load - The measure of the density and digestion speed of carbohydrates (the glycemic index of a food multiplied by the amount of carbohydrates per serving). The goal of low carb eating is to keep the glycemic load low. Carrots, for example, even though they have a high glycemic index, have a much lower glycemic load than pasta because they are less carbohydrate-dense.

How many of us are so motivated that we just stand up and jump for the excercise? Wish I was. The dvd gave me a good work out. I checked the internet for more jump rope routines. It travels everywhere with the case that's included. I look at it and feel guilty if I don't use the thing since I paid money for it. Things are lifting that have been falling for a while. haha And I don't trip trying to get the rope under my feet. ...more
